iPad or iPad 2: Which One Should You Buy?
The New: iPad2
Apple's new iPad
2 has changed everything. It is lighter, faster, thinner and lighter, with two
cameras and a variety of new features in the latest operating system. The
new version, like many Apple products, starts at $499. FaceTime is the
most prominent feature. It uses the two cameras built into the iPad 2 and 4 to
allow live video calls over Wi-Fi between users. The camera at the front
allows you to show off your face, while the camera at the back lets you show
off what you see. For example, you could show Grandma in another state the baby

This is what
many people consider the best feature of the iPad 2. The large screen provides
a clear image of loved ones and allows you to keep in touch. The new iPad
2 has an accelerometer, GPS, and compass. These three functions work together
to determine which direction the iPad is facing or turning. This means that you
can play many different apps and games on your iPad 2. This will show you
where you are on a map and tell you which direction to go. If you can't read
maps, you don't have to worry.
There are
certain improvements to the new iPad, just like any other product. The
question is now whether you will need the new iPad or the old one.
The Old: iPad
(from 2010)
CNET UK
discovered something very interesting during a speed test of iPad 2. The
iPad 2 was four times faster than the iPad 1. The speed difference between
the iPad 2 and the iPad 1 was less when they installed iOS 2 on the iPad 1.
Jason Jenkins reported that the iPad 2 came out 1.5x faster than the iPad 1
after updating the software.
What does this
mean for you? The difference between the models isn't so significant if
you don’t care about the improved gaming capabilities or the cameras of the
iPad 2, if you simply want to surf the internet and check your email, the
differences are not that great. You can also get great value with
Apple.com's reduced prices and even lower rates for refurbished or clearance
iPads. Go to store.apple.com, scroll down to the bottom and click on "Refurbished
iPad." It all comes down to what you need. Even if you don’t
like fancy games, you might consider buying an iPad at a significantly reduced
price while still enjoying the latest software updates. An original iPad
will be preferred by many users as it is more affordable. Compare the
features of both models and choose what is most important to your needs. To
find the best deals, make sure to check out the clearance section on Apple.com
or at other resellers.
Note about
FaceTime
FaceTime is
definitely an impressive feature: video chats with family and friends are
amazing the first time. Although FaceTime is a cool and amazing feature,
it will not do any good if there aren't people who can FaceTime with your. You
can't do it via your cell phone network, but you can connect to Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi's
only limitation is that the US cellular companies are unable to handle video
conferencing, which would increase the network traffic. However, this will
change soon. This is not a major issue considering how many places offer
Wi-Fi free of charge and how easy it can be to set up your Wi-Fi network at the
home. These features are free with Wi-Fi only iPads.
